Introduction

The Department of Community & Special Education focuses on supporting individuals with diverse learning needs and promoting inclusive education within communities. It offers specialized training and resources for educators, caregivers and professionals working with children and adults with disabilities or special needs. The department also advocates for equal opportunities in education, fostering environments where every individual, regardless of ability, can thrive. Through collaborative initiatives, research and outreach programs, it works to raise awareness and enhance the quality of special education services ensuring that all learners have access to tailored support that meets their unique developmental and educational requirements

Objectives

To ensure that individuals with special needs have equal access to quality education in mainstream and specialized settings.
